Writing an
introduction (one page and a half/ one
and a half pages long)
This tasks
consists of 3 parts. Background/ Problem/ Possible study.
Step 1: Establishing a research
territory
- by showing that the general research area is
important, central, interesting, problematic, etc. (optional)
- by introducing and reviewing items of previous
research in the area (obligatory) if you know about them
Step 2:

indicate a gap in the
previous research or by extending previous knowledge in some way (obligatory)
Step 3:
- Outlinine purposes or stating the nature of
the present research (obligatory)

If this is written in a more formal context, we will narrate in third person but the information and narration will depend on the audience you have.
Data presented normaly includes:
Personal information (name, studies)
Academic information ( interests, publications)
Narration normally chronologically even though you may begin with a first person overview.
Narrow the information
Include humanazing factors.
Start with your name
Write a bio data related to you (use your imagination) and write a minimum of 200 words.
Remember you have the text we just looked at as a guidance.

Dr. Jane Wright is a professor of Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her B.S from UCLA and her M.D. from Penn State University before eventually becoming supervising doctor at the Pennsylvania Hospital Emergency Center in 1997. After her fifteen-year career as a supervisor there, Dr. Wright returned to Los Angeles, where she accepted a tenure position at her alma mater UCLA. Finally, I truly hope we make a lot of progress during this level.
